Amazing news! Tweetatorium now also has its own home.

Somebody in Japan called 'nakano' wrote up a rather nice mini-howto on Tweetatorium (link goes through Google Translate), including step-by-step screenshots. For those able to read Japanese, original article is here.

Tweetatorium 1.0.4

Apparently something got screwed at TwitVid.com so that they no longer accept uploads using a certain HTTP protocol feature. Version 1.0.4 no longer uses this feature & makes everything work again. Grmbl.

Try getting such a quick fix out & available on the iPhone App Store... :)

Tweetatorium 1.0.3

Just updated Tweetatorium to v1.0.3. It has a bit more polish and now shows a short 'toast' notification after pressing the Upload or Cancel buttons, telling the user what's going on.

Without the notification and the upload starting quietly in the background, it probably wasn't very clear that something was still going on after pressing the button... :)

Tweetatorium 1.0.0 released!

Just released my 2nd Android app to the Market: Tweetatorium. Yes, the silly name is intentional. :)

It's a small & simple application that allows you to share your videos on twitvid.com. The video links are tweeted on your Twitter page.

Videos are uploaded in the background & a notification will appear when the upload has finished.

I know there are other apps that do something similar (and probably even better) but this one was mainly for me to get acquainted with some more Android API's.

Telemeter4Tools issues

Telenet is currently experiencing some issues with the Telemeter4Tools service following an IT system update. This is why the widget is currently not able to update its status (or is showing ??? / ???).

TelemeterWidget gets a real home :)

Although announcements of new versions will still be done on this blog, a more permanent home that consolidates all useful info onto one single page is this site. If you have any issues with the widget, have a look here first!

TelemeterWidget v1.0.10 released

This one contains two minor changes:

- Password preference is no longer shown in the clear
- Max volume limit is displayed without decimals

TelemeterWidget v1.0.8 released

Yesterday I released my very first Android application to the Market. It's a widget that shows your Telenet Telemeter data. If you don't know what the Telemeter is, this widget is probably of no use to you... :)

Next version will have these updates:

- Launching as an application will go directly to the Settings screen
- An information/about entry in the Settings screen with some in-app info & instructions
- Some internal code-cleanups

Release of the next version will also be announced here.
